Crypto casino bonuses explained: welcome, cashback, and the wagering trap
The number on the banner is the offer. The wager next to it is the price. A 100% match at 30x and a 500% match at 60x are not the same product, and the bigger one is often the worse deal. This page is the map of the types. The arithmetic lives on the 25x rule, and every live offer we track is on crypto bonuses.
Deposit match
You deposit, the casino adds a percentage, and you have to bet the total a set number of times before a withdrawal. Vavada’s welcome is 35x. Mostbet’s is 30x, and the operator’s own terms give you 30 days, not 72 hours. Both are ordinary matches. Both can be worth taking if you were going to bet that much anyway, and both are a bad idea if you wanted a short session and a cashout.
At a 96% game the break-even wager is about 25x. Above that, the offer is a slow way to return your own money to the house. Below it, you are being paid to bet you might have placed. That single comparison retires most of the banners. Worked numbers for the offers we track are on the wagering page, not repeated here.
Rakeback, which is not a bonus
Duel does not sell a deposit match. It pays rakeback in cash from the first bet, with no wagering. Stake does the same, and the CENTR code raises the rate you earn at a given tier compared with signing up without it. Neither one belongs in a table of “500% welcome” offers. They belong on no-wagering casinos, next to each other, because the thing you can withdraw is a slice of the house edge and not a locked balance.
Rakeback is smaller than a match on day one and larger over a month of ordinary play. If you take both a match and rakeback at a casino that offers the pair, read which one is paused while the match is active. Several cashiers turn rakeback off until the wager is done.
No-deposit and free spins
A no-deposit offer is a small balance or a set of spins with a wager and, almost always, a cap on what you can withdraw. The cap is the real number. A 50x wager on $10 with a $50 max cashout is a $50 product, not a $10 product that grew. The live codes and the caps are on no-deposit bonuses.
Free spins are a match paid in bets on one slot. The winnings usually arrive as bonus money with their own wager, and the slot is often excluded from clearing other bonuses. Check the game name and the cap before you treat them as cash.
Cashback
Cashback pays a percentage of net losses over a day or a week. It is the only common offer that pays you for losing. Read two lines: whether it is cash or bonus, and whether it counts deposits you already wagered. Cash cashback with no wager is a refund. Bonus cashback at 10x is another match, wearing a friendlier name.
What to read before you opt in
- The wager, the deadline, and the games that do not count. Stake’s deposit bonuses exclude a long list of studios while the rollover is open. The list is in the Stake review.
- The max cashout. It caps the win, not the deposit.
- Whether a withdrawal before the end forfeits the bonus and the winnings from it. Assume it does until the terms say it does not.
- The country line. An offer can be real and still closed where you are.
If the cashier will not pay after you have cleared all of that, the route is in casino will not pay out. A bonus dispute and a missing withdrawal are different arguments, and mixing them is how both get dropped.
